High School Project Priorities
WHS

The mission of Committee 21 is to actively support the goals of the Wellesley Public Schools and to advocate for resources to achieve these goals. To this end, we have developed the following criteria to review as the Wellesley High School Project proceeds through the development phases.

The final design should provide:
  • a building which meets the programming needs of today and into the future.
  • a construction process which does not adversely affect the education and extracurricular opportunities of current students.
  • a building which which is cost effective in construction and in operation.

As the project proceeds in the coming months, we will provide updates, information and, when necessary, action steps. This is a major project for our town and one that requires the active participation of all town residents.
